Experience
Joined Moir and Palgrave, Public Analysts and Consulting Chemists in 1970. Involved in analysing raw materials and finished food products.
Promoted to Chief Chemist in 1977 and subsequently became a salaried partner in 1982. Involved in analysing samples of food, drugs, waters, effluents and waste materials in the light of Government Legislation and Consumer Protection, with particular reference to statutory requirements concerning persistent pesticides, toxic metals and vitamins.
Became a Partner in 1985 and formed Central Scientific Laboratories in 1989, and incorporated into Eurofins Scientific UK Ltd in 1998 as an associate director.
Currently holds appointments with 30 food authorities in England.
