Eurofins Acquires New Food & Environmental Testing Laboratory

Eurofins has finalised the acquisition of Lincolne Sutton & Wood, the food and environmental testing business based in East Anglia, following the satisfactory completion of due diligence.

LSW has a specialized laboratory in Norwich which will enable Eurofins to expand its services to food clients in the East Anglian region. Fast turnaround and technical support will be available to a new range of customers in this area, supported by technical experts within the Eurofins network of more than 100 laboratories and 7,000 employees worldwide. Stephen Guffogg and Peter Brown will continue to lead the business.

Stephen Guffogg commented, "The range of services and test types that Eurofins can provide, including sophisticated authenticity testing, trace contaminants and genetic speciation, will enable us to provide a greatly enhanced service to our clients."
