Basic Food Labelling Workshops
Eurofins Public Analyst Service runs a series of seminars and workshops at various locations across the UK. Forthcoming events include:
Following the success of the Eurofins "Intermediate Food and Nutrition" Workshop, we are running similar, full-day, workshops covering Basic Food labelling across the country in 2006.
The workshops will cover:
- Overview of general labelling requirements
- Principles of The Food Labelling Regulations 1996
- QUID
- Misleading descriptions
- Quality marketing (home-made, traditional, organic, etc.)
- Allergens
- Label checklist
- Practical session applying knowledge gained and the label checklist to assess a section of labels
Attendance at this workshop will assist in fulfilling the requirements of the dual strands of training and continued competence; we will of course issue certificates of attendance to delegates.
