Heavy Metals in Organic Produce Survey 2003

The purpose of the survey is to investigate whether the different practices involved in organic production, in particular the fertilising substances used, influence the level of toxic heavy metals present in the food. The results will be compared with the limits for heavy metals specified in Commission Regulation 466/2001.
